Senior IT Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to deliver first‑ and second‑level technical support for server, GPU, liquid‑cooling, storage and network infrastructure. The role involves incident management, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting and direct communication with customer technical contacts while adhering to defined SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and own assigned tickets.
• Classify, analyze and resolve incidents remotely and onsite, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Perform hardware replacements, operational readiness tests, firmware/BIOS updates and liquid‑cooling maintenance.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, periodic health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Process RMA cases, document activities in the ticketing system and prepare spare‑part documentation.
• Participate in on‑call duties and provide permanent onsite customer support when required.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship or comparable qualification as an IT Systems Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in server, storage and network environments.
• Willingness and ability to provide permanent onsite support and participate in on‑call duty.
• Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented, independent working style.
