Senior Machine Learning Engineer (NLP/LLMs)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with deep expertise in Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models to join Hudhud’s fast‑growing AI team. The role blends research‑to‑production work with robust software engineering to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for real‑world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP and LLM‑based solutions for production environments.
• Translate research papers and experimental models into production‑ready systems.
• Architect and implement scalable ML pipelines, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate models into Hudhud’s platforms.
• Conduct experiments, evaluate models, and optimise for accuracy, efficiency, and cost.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in NLP, LLMs, and generative AI.
• Guide junior engineers and contribute to building a high‑performance AI team.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in ML/NLP, with at least 3 years focused on LLMs.
• Strong background in NLP techniques such as transformers, embeddings and sequence models.
• Experience with Arabic NLP or multilingual LLMs is a strong plus.

• Python programming.
• ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• LLM tooling: LangChain, Haystack.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Software engineering practices: version control (Git), testing, CI/CD.
• Distributed systems, APIs, microservices.
• Transformer models, fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, model evaluation.
