Senior Physical Therapy Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Physical Therapy Technician to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries or medical conditions. The role involves evaluating patients, designing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring optimal functional recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
• Conduct assessments of strength, motor function, sensory perception, and cardiovascular efficiency.
• Develop and document customized treatment programs based on assessment findings.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises and operate physical agents such as hydrotherapy tanks, moist packs, UV/IR lamps, and ultrasound machines.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and record outcomes in patient charts.
• Educate patients and families on home‑care procedures and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and guide therapy assistants and aides.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to safety, confidentiality, and cybersecurity policies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in physical therapy or rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of evidence‑based treatment protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
