Senior Planner (Pre-Commissioning Planner)

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Planner (Pre‑Commissioning Planner) to lead the planning, integration, monitoring and reporting of pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure programme. The role is based in Riyadh and will support the delivery of a mixed‑use legacy development after the event.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed pre‑commissioning and commissioning schedules using Primavera P6 and CPM techniques.
• Integrate schedule data across early works, utilities, streets and parks to ensure alignment with the overall master‑plan.
• Monitor progress, identify variances and produce regular schedule reports and visual dashboards for senior management.
• Perform schedule risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies and update risk registers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and client representatives to resolve scheduling issues.
• Support hand‑over and legacy transition planning for post‑event community use.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in planning/scheduling for large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proven experience in pre‑commissioning or commissioning phases.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work in an international, multi‑disciplinary environment.
