Senior Project Manager – Events

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale conferences, exhibitions and turnkey events. You will own the full project lifecycle, from client brief through concept development, on‑site execution and post‑event closeout, ensuring quality, budget discipline and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage the complete project lifecycle, creating detailed schedules, milestones and resource plans.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and coordinate site inspections and technical walk‑throughs.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, facilitating status meetings, progress reports and translating briefs into actionable event concepts.
• Own the project P&L, develop budgets, track expenditures, negotiate supplier contracts and manage change orders.
• Source, evaluate and manage vendors such as AV production, stand builders, logistics, catering and security, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Lead on‑site teams during build‑up, live event days and breakdown, producing runsheets and technical schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale events or conferences.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Demonstrated budget ownership and financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent coordination of multi‑vendor environments and complex logistics.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
