Senior Project Manager – Program Delivery & Stakeholder Management

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead and coordinate complex projects within the MoI Security Services division, ensuring delivery against defined objectives, timelines, scope, and budget. This role aligns project execution with organisational goals and Elm policies, driving successful outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, success criteria, and acceptance measures; develop detailed execution plans aligned with business priorities.
• Estimate, prepare, and monitor program budgets, tracking costs and adjusting for scope or timeline changes.
• Utilise project management methodologies and tools to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring adherence to approved plans.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; resolve issues through stakeholder coordination and escalation when necessary.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with executives, department heads, and project teams; gather requirements and provide regular updates.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and business stakeholders.
• Conduct program evaluations, capture lessons learned, and support continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects, preferably in security or public sector environments.
• Strong ability to develop comprehensive plans, manage budgets, and control project risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of aligning expectations.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results and continuous improvement.
