Senior Project Manager – SAP Enterprise Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise SAP platforms, including SAP Commerce and related business applications. The role bridges business and technology, providing technical leadership and ensuring high‑quality delivery across complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery and operational management of SAP application support, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, resources, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership to development, SAP, infrastructure, cloud, and support teams, reviewing solution approaches and validating implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design scalable, secure, high‑availability enterprise solutions.
• Oversee SAP Commerce, CRM, integration platforms, middleware, and enterprise application landscapes to ensure service continuity.
• Drive Agile delivery using Scrum, governing SDLC activities, release planning, sprint execution, QA, and production deployments.
• Lead IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity, Availability, Service Request) in line with ITIL practices.
• Manage application upgrades, infrastructure changes, cloud services, security enhancements, and platform lifecycle activities.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational KPIs, security standards, and governance requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and third‑party vendors, identifying risks and defining mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise performance, automation, and service quality.
• Prepare executive‑level reporting, technical governance documentation, and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing enterprise technology projects and application support operations.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale SAP support, operations, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and govern technical delivery.
