Senior Project Planner

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Planner to lead planning and scheduling activities for the Integrated PDH‑PP Plants project. The role will coordinate between the client, project management team, Worley Project Controls, engineering teams and multiple contractors to ensure accurate progress measurement and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate planning and scheduling interfaces among client, PMT, Worley Project Controls, engineering teams and contractors.
• Maintain the Level 1 Client Master Schedule, consolidating contractor schedules and reflecting key interfaces, dependencies and milestones.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, updates, look‑ahead schedules, forecasts, mitigation and recovery programmes for alignment with execution strategy and contractual requirements.
• Monitor overall project progress across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and other workstreams.
• Analyse earned value, schedule performance and forecasted completion dates against approved baselines.
• Identify schedule risks, critical path activities and interface issues, recommending mitigation and recovery actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress and performance reports for client, PMT and project leadership.
• Validate contractor progress, quantities and, where required, review progress claims and payment applications.
• Participate in planning, progress and schedule review meetings, ensuring compliance with project procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
• Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors and internal project controls teams.
• Demonstrated competence in analysing schedule data, earned‑value metrics and risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to produce clear progress updates for senior leadership.
