Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Jacobs is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its NEOM programme in Saudi Arabia. The role provides contractual leadership across a major construction programme, handling cost control, re‑measurements, payment certifications, variations and contract administration while collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with financial and contractual aspects of multiple work packages, including preparing minutes of progress meetings.
• Finalize contractor monthly payment certificates and ensure cost and quantity records are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Advise on measurement procedures, calculate interim and final quantities, and evaluate unit rates for new work items.
• Monitor day‑work recording, contractor resource allocation, and prepare monthly financial and cost reports.
• Review and audit contractor payments, verify measurements, and prepare final accounts for the project.

Required profile

• Chartered status preferred with 10+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 5 years on infrastructure projects and 3 years in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead Quantity Surveying teams and strong expertise in estimating, measurement and re‑measurement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
