Senior Resident Construction Engineer

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Resident Construction Engineer to lead construction activities in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that contractors and subcontractors meet safety, quality, contractual, and technical requirements while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, time, and budget.
• Initiate and chair regular meetings and workshops to maintain agreed quality standards.
• Provide project management guidance on specifications, procedures, methods, schedules, and productivity.
• Review and resolve clashes or conflicts in contractor performance.
• Supervise Resident Construction Engineers (Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) and administrative support staff.
• Manage correspondence and submittals between contractor and owner.
• Review shop drawings, as‑built drawings, material submittals, and technical clarifications.
• Recommend approval of monthly invoices and progress reports.
• Proactively detect potential problems and coordinate solutions with contractors and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in construction engineering or management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
