Senior Software Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of ERP‑focused software development projects. The role involves planning, execution, and post‑launch support while ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables in partnership with leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of software engineers, business analysts, QA and integration specialists.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, dependencies and blockers to keep the project on time and on budget.
• Apply Agile, Scrum or hybrid methodologies to drive iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and software development best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing change requests and scope adjustments.
• Prepare regular status reports, steering committee updates and executive‑level reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software project management experience, including at least 3 years managing ERP development or implementation projects.
• Proven hands‑on experience delivering a full ERP lifecycle (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or custom‑built ERP).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, system architecture, integrations and database‑driven enterprise applications.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• ERP platforms: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo.
• Project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, hybrid.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile (preferred).
• Project management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project.
