Senior Stakeholder Manager

About the role

The Senior Stakeholder Manager will lead the statutory and stakeholder approval process for complex infrastructure and building projects. Acting as the main liaison between design teams, clients, contractors and regulatory authorities, the role ensures that approval requirements are clearly understood, integrated into design and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the statutory authority and stakeholder approvals process, aligning with project milestones and client deliverables.
• Coordinate authority and stakeholder requirements within the design team, communicating constraints, conditions and approval strategies.
• Serve as the central point of contact for clients, authorities, stakeholders and contractors on approvals‑related matters.
• Monitor, track and report approval progress, risks and dependencies, escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare and lodge submissions in accordance with authority procedures, standards and timelines.
• Lead and participate in meetings and negotiations with statutory authorities and key stakeholders.
• Maintain auditable records of submissions, approvals, comments and conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Significant post‑graduate experience in stakeholder, approvals or authority coordination within the built environment.
• Proven experience dealing with statutory authorities for buildings, infrastructure, roads and utilities across the GCC.
• Strong understanding of approval processes in Saudi Arabia; experience with UAE authorities is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
