Senior Technical Engineer – Civil & Landscape Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our Technical Office and support large‑scale landscape, infrastructure and public‑realm projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical submissions, coordinating multidisciplinary designs and driving value‑engineering initiatives to deliver projects efficiently and economically.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract, IFC drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Prepare, review and coordinate shop drawings for civil and landscape works.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, irrigation and site teams to ensure clash‑free, approved drawings.
• Prepare grading plans, hardscape details and construction drawings for landscape projects.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings, calculations and technical submissions before client submission.
• Resolve technical queries (RFIs) and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.
• Conduct value‑engineering studies to optimise cost, constructability and execution.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals for technical submissions.
• Support quantity take‑offs, material verification and monitor site execution for compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a Technical Office role.
• Strong background in landscape, infrastructure and public‑realm projects, preferably on major Saudi giga projects.
• Proven experience preparing and coordinating shop drawings for civil and landscape works.
• Hands‑on experience with technical submissions, RFIs, consultant approvals and site coordination.
