Senior Telecommunication Designer (ED IV)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced ED IV Senior Telecommunication Designer to join its Telecom & Security team in Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality telecom and security drawings that meet Saudi Aramco standards and the company’s quality assurance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed Outside Plant and Inside Plant telecom drawings.
• Apply Saudi Aramco drafting standards, specifications and codes of practice.
• Create base design drawings from agreed scopes with minimal engineering input.
• Perform drafting checks as directed by engineers.
• Communicate clearly with engineering personnel and support group objectives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Telecommunications or Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of proven design experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Experience working in multinational, multicultural project teams.
