Service Associate - Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservation Agent at Shangri‑La Jeddah delivers premium service to guests, handling telephone sales and reservations for all food and beverage outlets while promoting the hotel’s unique offerings. You will act as the primary point of contact for booking inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservation requests, confirming or regretting based on availability, rates and inventory.
• Promote room types, rates, and hotel facilities to match guest needs and maximize booking opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room layouts, amenities, and public rate offers.
• Provide prompt, courteous telephone service and accurate information to potential guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requirements are met throughout the stay.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a hotel or reservations environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and professional telephone manner.
• Collegiate‑level degree preferred.
