Service Operator I – L&P (Well Logging)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Service Operator I – L&P to join its well‑logging team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Working under direct supervision, you will rig‑up and rig‑down surface and down‑hole logging equipment, ensuring accurate geological data collection for our global energy customers.

Key responsibilities

• Rig‑up and rig‑down surface and down‑hole well‑logging equipment, including electric, nuclear, sonic and pressure‑control tools.
• Operate well‑logging equipment on‑site and assemble down‑hole tools.
• Maintain, clean and perform preventative maintenance on both surface and down‑hole equipment.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑job vehicle and equipment inspections and complete associated paperwork.
• Learn and operate pressure‑control equipment as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an Operator Assistant – L&P, II.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic reading, writing and computer skills.
• Knowledge of HMS standards and safety/environmental procedures.
• Commercial driver’s licence may be required in some locations.
• Well‑Control Accreditation and water‑survival training may be required.

Required skills

• Rig‑up/down well‑logging equipment.
• Operation of electric, nuclear and sonic well‑logging tools.
• Pressure‑control equipment operation.
• Equipment preventative maintenance.
• Vehicle and equipment inspection procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with HMS standards for PSL personnel.
