Site Coordinator – Operations

About the role

The Site Coordinator supports the Project Manager and Site Manager in overseeing daily site activities, ensuring smooth project execution, and maintaining effective communication among supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site operations with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Track manpower, equipment, materials and monitor work progress.
• Arrange site access, work permits, inspections and ensure required resources are available.
• Maintain daily site reports, attendance records, progress updates and other project documentation.
• Facilitate material deliveries, verify quantities and liaise with procurement, logistics, HSE, QA/QC and other departments.
• Participate in daily coordination, toolbox and progress meetings.
• Identify and escalate site issues, delays or resource constraints to the Site Manager.
• Support implementation of HSE policies, enforce PPE requirements and oversee compliance with site rules.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC personnel and client representatives when needed.
• Assist in preparing timesheets, manpower reports and equipment utilization records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in site operations or a similar construction environment.
• Familiarity with site documentation, work permits, safety procedures and construction workflows.
• Strong coordination, organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
