Site Engineer – Flushing & Pre-Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to lead flushing and pre‑commissioning activities on projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves hands‑on engineering work, coordination with contractors, and ensuring all activities meet safety and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise flushing and pre‑commissioning activities at project sites.
• Perform hydraulic, flow, pressure and flushing velocity calculations.
• Design and review temporary piping arrangements for flushing operations.
• Support pump sizing and selection based on project requirements.
• Plan and execute hydro‑testing and pipeline cleaning activities.
• Review P&IDs, engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Provide technical input and engineering solutions throughout flushing projects.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical and site‑related issues efficiently.
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience with strong exposure to flushing and pre‑commissioning projects.
• Proven experience in complete flushing projects across the Middle East; Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations, flow and pressure calculations, temporary piping design, pump sizing, flushing velocity calculations, hydro‑testing, pipeline cleaning, P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel across KSA.
