Site Engineer – Subsurface Irrigation Systems

About the role

The Site Engineer will lead the technical and commercial activities for the company’s subsurface irrigation system. The role bridges client interactions, proposal preparation, and after‑sales support, ensuring the system’s market growth across real‑estate, construction and agricultural sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of the irrigation system’s components, operation, specifications and competitive advantages.
• Identify and approach potential clients such as developers, contractors, landscaping firms, agricultural businesses and government entities.
• Manage all communications with prospects and existing customers, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, presentations and product profiles.
• Present and demonstrate the system on‑site, conduct requirement assessments and recommend solutions in coordination with the technical team.
• Drive sales from inquiry through negotiation, contracting, delivery, installation and payment collection.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client and lead database and produce regular pipeline and performance reports.
• Coordinate with marketing, manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance and installation teams to meet specifications and schedules.
• Provide technical support during installation, operation and after‑sales phases, and organise product training.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in irrigation, landscaping or related technical sales.
• Strong understanding of subsurface irrigation systems and their applications.
• Proven ability to manage client communications and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent presentation and proposal writing skills.
