Site Project Engineer

About the role

The Site Project Engineer is responsible for managing and engineering construction projects, ensuring that all deliverables are implemented correctly, on time and within budget. This role supervises on‑site staff, provides technical advice, and acts as the main point of contact for project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate project parameters and verify technical feasibility and quality in coordination with the direct manager.
• Allocate internal resources and schedule activities to meet customer outcomes.
• Prepare, coordinate and monitor on‑site project execution, reporting budget, schedule and performance updates.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve project methods and maintain profitability.
• Create frameworks for measuring project metrics, collect data and recommend improvements.
• Establish field test methods, conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with standards, policies and specifications.
• Perform safety inspections and enforce occupational health and safety measures.
• Prepare comprehensive site reports and maintain project documentation.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and cost in coordination with the direct manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction project engineering.
• Proven ability to supervise on‑site teams and coordinate resources.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for reporting to managers and stakeholders.
