Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

HALA is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of its fintech infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to automate operations, manage cloud and Kubernetes environments, and support continuous delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environment health and ensure high availability.
• Build and maintain software and systems that manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time‑to‑market of HALA’s software solutions.
• Measure and optimize system performance, anticipating customer needs.
• Provide primary operational support for large, distributed applications.
• Gather and analyze metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
• Partner with development teams to enhance services through testing and release procedures.
• Participate in system design, capacity planning, and platform management.
• Automate processes, create sustainable services, and balance feature speed with reliability.
• Deploy updates, build tools to reduce errors, and perform root‑cause analysis for production incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Kubernetes administration
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
• Designing, developing, and troubleshooting large‑scale systems
• Building CI/CD pipelines
