About the role
The Social Media Manager will lead the planning, creation, and execution of social content for clients across the MENA region, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives. This role combines client leadership, team mentorship, and hands‑on content production in both English and Arabic.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Account Director to align social media initiatives with overall brand strategy.
- Lead client meetings as the primary voice for social, delivering recommendations and managing expectations.
- Develop comprehensive social roadmaps, content pillars, community management protocols, and platform playbooks.
- Draft, edit, and publish daily posts across all relevant platforms, handling bilingual copywriting with Gulf cultural nuances.
- Create social‑first visual content using mobile editing tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Manually schedule and optimise posts with appropriate tags, locations, and trending audio.
- Monitor performance, generate insights using social listening tools, and report ROI against defined KPIs.
- Lead or support influencer campaigns and provide live coverage of events for real‑time engagement.
Required profile
- 4–5 years of social media management experience, preferably in a creative or digital agency.
- Native‑level Arabic with strong Gulf dialect knowledge and professional English proficiency.
- Deep understanding of the MENA market and cultural trends.
