About the role
We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer / System Administrator with hands‑on experience in Blackboard LMS to join our EdTech team. The role combines development, customization, and operational support of the learning platform and its integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, customize, administer, and maintain Blackboard LMS and related applications.
- Design and support integrations between Blackboard and enterprise systems (SIS, ERP, HR, CRM, identity management) using APIs and web services.
- Create and maintain custom applications, extensions, and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot technical, system, and integration‑related issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Blackboard LMS / Learn Ultra.
Required skills
- REST APIs, JSON, XML, Web Services.
- Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, C#.
- SQL and database management.
- LTI, SCORM, xAPI, SAML, OAuth.
- Active Directory and identity management.
