About the role

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions that support our digital transformation initiatives in Riyadh. The role requires translating business requirements into robust technical architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and cloud-based projects.
Define application, integration, infrastructure, security and data architecture across initiatives.
Conduct architecture reviews, technology evaluations and trade-off analyses.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, development and infrastructure teams.
Produce architecture documentation, solution diagrams and technical design specifications.
Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and mentor engineering teams.

Required profile

9+ years of experience in solution design and architecture.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud platforms.
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and make informed architectural decisions.

Required skills

Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
Architecture styles: Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless.
Integration technologies: REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ.
CI/CD, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep).
Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB.
Caching: Redis, Memcached.
Messaging: Azure Service Bus, Amazon SQS.
Identity & Access Management: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML.
Modeling tools: Sparx Enterprise Architect, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio.
