Specialist, Budget & Costing

About the role

The Specialist II, Budget & Costing supports the finance team by preparing budgets, forecasts, cost analyses and financial reports. The role provides accurate financial insights, maintains reporting tools and assists business units in making data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Maintain budgeting templates, financial models and planning databases.
• Prepare cost analyses for manpower, equipment, projects and operational activities.
• Support billing and revenue processes, including invoice validation, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Generate recurring financial and operational reports and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automate reporting processes.
• Extract, validate and reconcile data from ERP systems and other sources.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and support continuous‑improvement projects as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in budgeting, costing, financial analysis or management reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and ERP data extraction.
