Supervisor, Material Planning

About the role

The Supervisor, Material Planning will support Lucid's Logistics team by overseeing end‑to‑end in‑plant logistics activities. This includes managing truck parks, docks, warehouses, marketplace areas, and production line locations to ensure parts are delivered on time and production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics planning.
• Manage 3PL relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, planning, and customer service teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, transportation cost per unit, inventory accuracy, and warehouse productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Implement digital tools and analytics to enhance logistics visibility and decision‑making.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing logistics team.
• Support new product launches, warehouse expansions, and supply‑chain transformation projects.

Required profile

• Strategic mindset with experience in digital transformation.
• Proven ability to lead logistics or material‑planning teams.
• Strong communication and team‑building skills.
• Experience with lean storage, cost‑effective movement of goods, and safety compliance.
