Surgical Equipment Manager (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Equipment Manager to join its Sales & Sales Support organisation in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships with hospitals, surgical centres and key ophthalmic stakeholders to drive adoption of Alcon’s surgical portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic accounts and customer relationships within the ophthalmic surgical market.
• Drive sales growth and achieve commercial targets for Alcon’s surgical equipment portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating‑room teams, procurement departments and other key stakeholders.
• Identify customer challenges and develop tailored solutions that support clinical and operational objectives.
• Develop and execute account plans, market analysis and business development initiatives.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements and contracts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Customer Service and Technical Support.
• Organise customer events, product demonstrations, workshops and educational programmes.
• Maintain accurate account data in Alcon’s CRM system and drive execution of sales plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing strategic accounts in the ophthalmic surgical or medical device sector.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights.
• Experience preparing and negotiating commercial agreements.
