Technical Advisor – Process

About the role

Kellogg Brown & Root is seeking a Technical Advisor – Process to lead the design and delivery of upstream oil and gas facilities. The role involves overseeing process engineering from concept through detailed design for medium to large projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10‑15 process and discipline engineers on design projects.
• Scope projects, develop and review process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, design basis, narratives, calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Approve engineering work plans, basis of design documents, and estimate work‑hours.
• Provide technical leadership, ensure design integrity, and deliver work on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct technical presentations to clients and act as a resource for engineering teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in upstream oil and gas facilities design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients.
