Telecom Contract Management Manager

About the role

The Contract Management Manager will lead the governance, negotiation and optimisation of telecom network operation contracts across the OPEX domain. You will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure service delivery, cost efficiency and risk mitigation for Mobile Access, Core, Transport and managed‑service environments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate O&M, managed‑service, turnkey and SLA/KPI contracts.
• Define commercial and technical terms, service scopes, deliverables and escalation mechanisms.
• Manage O&M contract scopes covering preventive/corrective maintenance, spare parts, field crews, NOC/SOC, TSS, VAS and network optimisation.
• Monitor vendor SLAs/KPIs, enforce penalties or rewards, and produce performance reports.
• Support OPEX optimisation by analysing BoQs, vendor costs and service models.
• Identify AI use cases to automate contract‑management activities and reduce operational expenses.
• Lead RFP/RFQ preparation, evaluation and negotiation for large‑scale telecom contracts.
• Review BoQs, rates and cost structures to uncover optimisation opportunities.
• Oversee contract budgets, cost analysis, invoicing controls and CAPEX/OPEX classification.
• Develop standardised contract‑management processes, templates and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in telecom contract management, OPEX optimisation or related fields.
• Proven track record negotiating large‑value telecom contracts and managing vendor performance.
• Strong understanding of telecom network operations, SLA/KPI frameworks and risk mitigation.
