Tendering Engineer – Construction & Engineering

About the role

The Tendering Engineer will lead the preparation and management of technical and financial proposals for construction and engineering projects. This role involves close collaboration with multiple internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids are submitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage technical and financial proposals for tenders and RFQs.
• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement, and project teams to develop competitive bids.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing, rate analysis, and financial offers.
• Identify project requirements, risks, exclusions, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare method statements, technical submissions, compliance statements, and other tender documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and pricing.
• Ensure tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
• Maintain proper records of tender documents and submitted proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or proposal preparation.
• Experience in construction and engineering projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical and financial proposal preparation.
• Good understanding of BOQ, cost estimation, pricing, and rate analysis.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
