About the role

The Testing & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for commissioning and conducting tests on power plants and substations before they become operational. The role involves preparing test documentation, troubleshooting non‑conformances, and ensuring safety compliance throughout the testing phase.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update project and equipment test reports, documenting non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Execute functional and site testing according to defined schemes, including customer inspection coordination.
• Perform testing and commissioning of substation equipment such as relays, switchgear, and transformers.
• Provide technical support by reviewing design documents prior to release.
• Initiate continuous improvement actions and maintain quality records in consultation with the department manager.
• Lead, coach and delegate tasks to sub‑ordinates, ensuring fair workload distribution and morale.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduate acceptable).
• Ability to train and lead a small team and manage task delegation.
