Tile Fixer

About the role

Abdul Ghafoor Construction Company is looking for a Tile Fixer to join its construction and finishing teams in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role involves installing wall and floor tiles across various projects while ensuring high standards of alignment, durability and finish quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, measuring and marking installation areas.
• Cut and shape ceramic, porcelain, stone and other tiles using hand and power tools.
• Apply adhesive, mortar, grout and sealants according to project specifications.
• Install tiles on floors, walls, stairways, bathrooms, kitchens and other designated surfaces.
• Check spacing, level, pattern, alignment and finish throughout the installation process.
• Repair, replace and re‑grout damaged or uneven tiles when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain progress and quality.

Required profile

• Practical experience in tile installation, surface preparation and finishing work.
• Ability to read basic measurements, layouts and installation instructions.
• Good physical stamina and safe work practices on active construction sites.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to follow supervisor directions.

Required skills

• Use of tile cutters, grinders, levels, trowels and spacers.
• Operation of hand and power tools for cutting and shaping tiles.
• Application of adhesive, mortar, grout and sealants.
