Access Management Supervisor

About the role

The Access Management Supervisor leads the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of IT security access controls. Working with minimal direction, the role ensures that access policies, procedures, and standards protect the organization’s digital environment while supporting business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update IT security access guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Administer and maintain identity, authentication, and authorization mechanisms across networks, systems, applications, and devices.
• Collect and manage identity information for all service users, overseeing the full lifecycle of access accounts.
• Process requests for granting, modifying, or revoking access rights in line with technical processes and service level agreements.
• Handle security access incidents and escalated tickets, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Analyze change requests, conduct impact assessments, prioritize, implement, and measure effectiveness.
• Monitor access to systems and applications, generate performance metrics, identify gaps against KPIs, and produce corrective action reports.
• Support junior team members, provide escalation handling, and ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT security access or identity and access management (IAM) environments.
• Strong understanding of access control concepts, authentication methods, and authorization models.
• Ability to analyze incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
