Account Director – MENA

About the role

Cognition is an applied AI lab building end‑to‑end software agents, including Devin, the first AI software engineer. As an Account Director for the MENA region, you will own the full sales cycle for enterprise customers, turning technical interest into revenue while feeding product feedback back to the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue by prospecting, demoing, closing, and activating early‑stage to enterprise customers across the MENA market.
• Navigate layered buying groups, engaging C‑suite executives, AI/tech leaders, procurement and legal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sourcing and demo strategies tailored to complex, multi‑level organizations.
• Identify customers’ technical pain points, qualify high‑impact use cases for Devin, and champion adoption within large technology teams.
• Collect and relay detailed customer feedback to product and engineering to shape future AI capabilities.
• Build and scale a high‑performing technical sales organization to accelerate market penetration.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling highly technical solutions to enterprise customers.
• Technical background as a software engineer, sales engineer, or forward‑deployed engineer, or demonstrated ability to quickly master complex technical concepts.
• Thrives in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and shows grit to win consistently.
• Exceptional learning ability and strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Experience founding or scaling a startup, or closing large, complex enterprise software deals is a plus.
