Account Executive – Technical Sales (PT)

About the role

The Account Executive – PT will drive revenue and profit growth for Nalco’s Purolite ion‑exchange resin portfolio across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. Working in a consultative, technical sales capacity, you will build long‑term relationships with end‑users, OEMs, contractors and specialized traders, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers and prospects for at least 75 % of working time to achieve budgeted sales targets.
• Control expenses in line with the approved budget.
• Prepare complete orders with all required information before processing.
• Develop and propose marketing strategies to promote the Purolite brand.
• Provide technical support, including project calculations, plant optimisation, on‑site interventions and audits.
• Participate in technical seminars on water treatment and present solutions to commercial and technical challenges.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and segment share.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Life Sciences.
• Minimum 1 year of successful technical or field sales experience, preferably in water‑treatment or specialty‑chemical industries.
• Experience related to well‑service stimulation business is a plus.
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers and wastewater‑treatment systems.
