Accountant – Accounts Payable (Non‑Trade)

About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining and reconciling non‑trade accounts payable, resolving supplier or customer disputes, and supporting periodic financial closings. The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate reflection in the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain supporting documentation to comply with company policies and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to settle disputes and preserve positive relationships.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual closing activities to produce reliable financial statements.
• Analyze account balances and transaction trends, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules and audit documentation.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
