Accountant – Banking & Payments

About the role

The Accountant will manage and process daily banking and payment transactions, ensuring accurate and timely execution of local and international payments. The role supports cash management, SAP accounting entries, tax‑related payments and the maintenance of precise financial records in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process daily bank transfers and payments to vendors, foreign suppliers, employees, government entities and affiliated companies, monitoring schedules and confirming transactions.
• Handle employee‑related payments, including monthly salaries, loans, advances and charitable donations, recording all transactions in SAP.
• Verify and process SADAD, utility and government payments (telephone, electricity, water, etc.) within required deadlines.
• Support cash handling, perform cash reconciliations and process customs duties and other related accounting entries.
• Process monthly VAT invoices and withholding tax payments, ensuring accurate submission to tax authorities.
• Create and maintain fixed‑asset records and other accounting entries in SAP, including allocation of bank charges for letters of credit and guarantees.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Organised and capable of handling multiple payment streams simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
