Accountant – Full-time On-site in Riyadh

About the role

This full-time, on-site Accountant position is based in Riyadh. The role supports daily accounting operations, month‑end and year‑end closings, and financial reporting for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, support audits, and improve financial processes and controls.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances and provide data‑driven insights.
• Attention to detail, organization and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or SOCPA certification is a plus.
• Experience in a corporate or project‑based environment, preferably in the region.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
