Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support the finance team by preparing accurate financial reports, performing bank reconciliations and assisting with cyclical audits. The role requires strong analytical abilities and effective communication with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and statements on a regular basis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support cyclical audit processes.
• Create ad‑hoc reports to meet various business needs.
• Prepare tax documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Compile and analyse financial statements.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Valid SOCPA membership or certification.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid business acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.
