Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

The Accounts Payable Assistant will support Fraser Suites Riyadh in ensuring timely and accurate processing of creditor payments and payroll. Working closely with the Finance Manager and General Manager, you will help maintain the hotel’s accounting standards and contribute to efficient financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly check runs, attach supporting documentation, and obtain approvals from Finance Manager and General Manager.
• Reconcile supplier statements with hotel records monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Balance accounts payable to the general ledger on a daily basis.
• Match invoices and delivery dockets with purchase orders, ensuring proper authorization and correct GL codes.
• Process invoice payments, liaise with suppliers, and reconcile invoices to supplier statements.
• Handle accounts payable queries and continuously improve procedures.
• Assist with monitoring fixed assets and inventory.
• Supervise monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely salary and benefit payments.
• Prepare month‑end journal voucher interfaces and payroll reconciliations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using hotel property management and accounting systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers.
