Accounts Payable Officer – Finance Team

About the role

The Golden Compass is looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team at the head office in Jeddah. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate cost recording for drilling and consultancy operations while complying with Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review supplier invoices related to drilling and mining operations.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and service reports.
• Prepare vendor payments and coordinate bank transfers.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and maintain accurate AP records.
• Support month‑end closing and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounts payable experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA regulations and e‑invoicing (FATOORA).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or Odoo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
