AI Integration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Integration Engineer to join our AI & Data team. The role focuses on building high‑performance backend services and integrating AI models with internal platforms and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs for AI integration.
• Develop backend services using Python and Node.js following clean‑code and security standards.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT and role‑based access control.
• Set up caching layers with Redis or Memcached and deploy containerised applications on Kubernetes (OKE).
• Collaborate with frontend, data engineering and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Oversee data ingestion, cleaning and labeling, and support model testing, validation and bias assessment.
• Manage production deployments, rollback procedures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and trigger retraining workflows when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience developing high‑performance backend services.
• Proven track record building and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs.
