APIGEE Integration API Developer / Consultant (On-site)

About the role

InnovationTeam is looking for an APIGEE API Developer/Consultant to join its API Management Development Team in Riyadh. The team focuses on the full-cycle implementation of APIs exposed on the organization's API management platform. The position is on-site in KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a team of designers and developers on internal and external APIs within projects.
• Participate in solution discussions with the team's designers and architects.
• Take part in daily technical status meetings and give project managers regular updates.
• Support end-to-end testing of implementations against the design.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of systems integration experience, including API development and hands-on API management.
• Experience implementing enterprise-level APIs at scale with APIGEE.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Required skills

• APIGEE policies (security, throttling, data transformation) and security (Basic Auth, OAuth2, SSL mutual authentication).
• RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP, XML and OpenAPI (Swagger); API design and documentation.
• APIGEE on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
• JS scripting in APIGEE, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Nice to have: APIGEE DevPortal, multi-tenancy, other API management tools, Google Cloud products.
