Architect – Building (Riyadh)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Architect – Building to join AECOM’s dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role will lead design development and management of building projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and delivering high-quality, constructible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage design development from concept through detailed design to final implementation.
• Review, coordinate and approve architectural deliverables at concept, preliminary, detailed and construction‑ready stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code, municipal requirements and relevant international standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, including structural systems, MEP, fire safety, accessibility and landscape integration.
• Provide technical input on design calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Manage design interfaces between architectural, structural and building systems to identify and resolve clashes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian building regulations and the Saudi Building Code.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on schedule.
• Visionary mindset with a focus on innovative, sustainable building solutions.
