Area Sales Manager, Medication Management Solutions (MMS)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager for Medication Management Solutions (MMS) will lead BD's commercial team across the Northern Region of Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring profitability of the MMS portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet revenue, profitability and market‑share targets.
• Lead account planning, pipeline development and new‑product launches while maintaining strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health, NUPCO, MODA and major private groups.
• Provide accurate forecasts and AOP commitments using Salesforce.com, and monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Coach, mentor and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Specialists, conducting performance reviews and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of sales experience with 3‑4 years in a leadership role, preferably in medical devices, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian healthcare market and procurement landscape.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
