Area Sales Manager – Pharmacy Automation (Western & Southern KSA)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager – Pharmacy Automation will lead the growth of BD’s Pharmacy Automation portfolio across the Western and Southern regions of Saudi Arabia. Based in Jeddah, you will execute the commercial strategy, manage key accounts and build high‑performing sales teams to drive sustainable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales revenue and profitable growth for the Pharmacy Automation portfolio in the assigned territories.
• Develop and implement territory and account plans to increase market and category share.
• Lead, coach and support the sales team to meet individual and area targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers, influencers and clinical/non‑clinical stakeholders in strategic accounts.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders, local societies and partners to strengthen market presence.
• Execute market‑development initiatives, including new product launches and demand‑generation campaigns.
• Ensure effective product positioning, detailing and value communication aligned with the PA strategy.
• Oversee product training for internal teams and external partners.
• Provide clinical education and technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliance with BD’s ethical, regulatory and commercial‑excellence standards, including SFDC data requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical, healthcare or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the medical‑device industry, preferably with capital equipment and Pharmacy Automation solutions.
• Proven track record of managing key accounts and leading sales teams.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare market and pharmacy automation landscape.

Required skills

• Salesforce (SFDC) proficiency for pipeline and activity management.
