Assembly / General Technician - RAS Piping

About the role

A skilled mechanical technician is sought for the engineering team working on the design, installation and maintenance of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). The role involves complex water piping networks on live project sites, based in Riyadh with travel to other regions of the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain industrial piping systems of all types (PP, HDPE, PVC)
• Weld PP and HDPE pipes and sheets using appropriate welding methods
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out work on site
• Fabricate and assemble tanks and basins from HDPE/PP materials according to engineering drawings
• Diagnose and repair faults in piping networks and connections
• Coordinate with the engineering team during installation so that work matches design specifications

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in industrial plumbing (PP, HDPE, PVC)
• Hands-on experience in plastic welding (butt welding, extrusion welding, socket fusion, electrofusion)
• Plastic welding certification (e.g. PAS 2211 or ISO 21307) is an advantage
• Nice to have: previous experience in water treatment, aquaculture or food industry; basic familiarity with RAS components such as filters, pumps and oxygen systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, piping layouts)
• High precision in leak-proof welding and willingness to travel across the Kingdom
