Asset Management Manager

About the role

The Asset Management Manager will lead a team of O&M subject matter experts to develop and implement world‑class operational standards for Saudi government entities. This senior position is responsible for shaping the national O&M manual and ensuring consistent asset management practices across the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, benchmarking and production of core Asset Management procedures and standards for the new National O&M Manual.
• Design department operating procedures, defining organization, roles, responsibilities and delivery processes.
• Provide Asset Management expertise to Saudi government entities, either directly or through team allocation, in line with strategic plans or ad‑hoc requests.
• Manage a matrixed organisation to deliver complex contract outcomes, integrating thought leadership across the Asset Management practice.
• Conduct evidence‑based research on Asset Management processes and systems.
• Maintain close relationships with the client and partner consultancy to optimise O&M best practices.
• Support the Enablement department as an SME to establish criteria, procure and deploy a National Asset Register (NAR), and integrate it with CAFM/CMMS platforms.
• Develop processes for budgeting, life‑cycle planning, condition assessment and 5‑year portfolio planning.

Required profile

• Background in Asset Management consultancy.
• Proven experience developing SOPs and Asset Management manuals, especially for O&M or FM services.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Facilities Management (FM) or Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
• Managerial experience in a reputable organisation.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
