About the role

The Business Introductory Course Instructor will deliver high‑quality, entry‑level business education to undergraduate students. This position introduces learners to core concepts, principles, and career pathways in business, fostering a solid foundation for further study.

Key responsibilities

• Teach introductory business courses such as Introduction to Business Concepts, Principles of Management, or Business in a Global Context.
• Use case studies, industry examples, and real‑world problems to create engaging, contextualized learning experiences.
• Guide students on the scope of business, current industry trends, and potential career pathways.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with course objectives, discipline standards, and institutional policies.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and disciplinary engagement.
• Provide academic advising, major‑selection guidance, and pastoral support through office hours.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative methods and deliver constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure alignment with degree requirements and learning outcomes.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and attendance and contribute to departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum two years of university‑level teaching experience or equivalent professional practice.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in core business concepts and awareness of current industry trends.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) for teaching in an English‑medium environment.
