Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager to support the implementation and expansion of our quality management system across the market. The role will help manage the QA team, ensuring food safety, brand compliance and quality standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the annual market Quality Plan, aligning with the QA Director.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management of QA specialists.
• Follow and enforce all Quality Management System SOPs, ensuring purchases from approved vendors only.
• Drive food safety and quality initiatives, including supplier and product approvals, audits, and product surveillance.
• Support local food safety projects, risk assessments, incident reporting and investigations.
• Analyze quality data, produce timely performance reports and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years experience in quality assurance / QHSE within the food sector.
• At least 2 years experience in a commercial management role (preferred).
